Take a Tour of Illinois Tech's Newly Renovated George J. Kacek Hall

Dirk Denison, FAIA (ARCH ’83, M.B.A. ’85)—College of Architecture professor, Illinois Tech alumnus, and renovation design lead of George J. Kacek Hall—gives a tour of this newly renovated Ludwig Mies van der Rohe-designed residence hall.

“The plan we created in Kacek is about the community, it’s about sharing space in a way that allows many different options in terms of where the residents can be,” says alumnus and College of Architecture Professor Dirk Denison.
